Site Supervisor
Job Description
You oversee operations, maintain safety, and ensure quality on construction sites. With expertise in coordination, resource management, and communication, Site Supervisors drive projects towards success. You will to lead teams, navigate challenges, and deliver exceptional results, all while keeping projects on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities at the site, including construction, maintenance, or operations tasks.

Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and relevant regulations and codes.

Monitor progress and productivity, and take necessary actions to ensure timely completion of tasks and milestones.

Coordinate and assign tasks to subcontractors, site workers, and other team members.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and identify any issues or deficiencies.

Implement and enforce safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment.

Provide guidance and training to site workers on work methods, procedures, and safety practices.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site activities, including daily progress reports, work logs, and safety documentation.

Manage and monitor the use of equipment, tools, and materials to ensure proper utilization and minimize wastage.

Address and resolve any conflicts, disputes, or issues that arise at the site.

Assist in the procurement of materials, equipment, and services as required.
Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's in construction management or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a site supervisor or similar role in the construction, maintenance, or operations industry.

Have knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and best practices.

Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse workforce and foster a collaborative work environment.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address issues and make timely decisions.

Communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey instructions, reports, and updates.

Proficient computer skills to use project management software, document control systems, and other relevant tools.

Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
